Care group Noorderboog is a care group that links care at home, sheltered
housing and residential care homes.
From hospital to integrated care group
Care Group Noorderboog uses the IT, Facilities and Reservations modules. Facilities software was introduced about a year ago. All reports are made in the Service Desk module of Ultimo. The four ladies working for the service desk process it all: reservations, catering, cleaning, reports, you name it. “We register everything in Ultimo. Also when a problem is reported personally or by phone, we record it in the system so we can get the full picture.” These reports are then sent to the Technical department. Two of the people are field service, driving their vans from location to location. They use the Ultimo Go app on their tablets. One of the things they do is move resources from one location to another. The other six technicians work on location: replace lights, paint walls, replace toilet seats, etc. Everything they do is reported in Ultimo as well. From report to completion.

TUI Belgium is a travel agency that is part of the TUI Group. They use Ultimo Facility Management for their branches in Oostende and Zaventem. Mainly to manage reservations of conference rooms.
The University Hospital in Brussels is an academic centre for top clinical patient care based on innovation and scientific research. In 2013 the hospital chose Ultimo to support the biotechnological service.
Interxion has more than 50 data centres in Europe (Austria, Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Ireland, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, The Netherlands and United Kingdom). These centres are designed, built and managed by Interxion itself. They offer co-location for consumers of cooling, power, fire prevention and security. Maintenance management is paramount for the organisation as it guarantees an uptime of 99.999%. Ultimo is used for a number of processes, including work order management, preventive maintenance and contract management.
Sacha Shoes has 75 branches in 5 different countries and webshops in The Netherlands, Belgium, France and Germany. Because this multinational grew so fast and is so successful, it needed a Computer Aided Facility Management system. How did we control management of all these locations? And how did we facilitate these branches as best as possible?
The purpose of a CAFM: professionalise facilities. This is why Sasha Shoes now centralises information, saving time and costs. The organisation chose a software implementation in stages. Focusing on structuring and detailing all the information of the branches. Next came the way work orders were processed, which arrive as events in the main offices in Tilburg, The Netherlands. And after that the centralised coordination of contracts, leases and insurances, all in Ultimo Facility Management Lite.
