We’ve recently worked with Newcastle City Council and supplied 900 MWB/240 Wheelie Bin Covers.
Customers are at the forefront of the company, and we’ve been working alongside Newcastle City Council since 2007. Our UK based manufacture means that you’re dealing with us direct, allowing the customer to make significant cost savings.
The council went out to tender earlier this year, with the aim to optimise their waste management services. We were requested to supply large wheelie bin covers, in the hope that this will allow the current smaller capacity litter bins to be replaced, increasing the operational efficiency of their waste management services and present opportunities for on-street recycling.
The need for larger covers would reduce the number of litter bins around Newcastle, but maintain the capacity to reduce the number of litter collections. The council required the covers to be 240 litres and manufactured from galvanised steel; optional ashtrays were preferred for units in the city centre.
We met the requirements and were awarded the tender; as a result, the council ordered 900 MWB/240 wheelie bin covers.
We were able to manufacture their wheelie bin covers with a quick turnaround, working to meet their varied delivery schedules throughout the year.
The MWB Wheelie Bin Cover is manufactured from 2mm durable galvanised steel, primed and powder coated in a colour of your choice. This bin features a heavy duty 4mm galvanised steel base with a stainless steel rod hinged self-locking door and pre-drilled holes in the bottom for ground fixing. The unit is available as a single or dual capacity, collecting up to 240 litres in a single wheelie bin.
Optional extras such as advertising panels in A4 or A3 size can be fitted to the bin, with gold or silver vinyl banding to the top and bottom.
The large 240 litre capacity is ideal for city centres, shopping centres and universities; the bin can be used in high traffic areas whilst reducing the number of collections.
