TelscapeTM is a photoluminescent Safety Way Guidance System (SWGS), designed to give means of escape guidance to occupants of buildings - particularly high rise structures. In an emergency evacuation, when electrical lighting fails, Telscape will glow in the dark creating fingers of light that delineates hazards and gives confidence to escapees, guiding them to safety.
While emergency electrical lighting has its place, it is expensive to install and maintain. It suffers from reliability issues and is not particularly effective in smoke filled conditions. Telscape can overcome these issues and could save up to 60% of escape route lighting costs.
