LightAir improves health and well-being by developing and selling efficient air purification. Solutions are based on two unique patented technologies: IonFlow and CellFlow. Both use different levels of ozone-free ionization to neutralize harmful particles. Three segments are targeted in a growing international market: Commercial, Industrial and Consumer.
Coor is
always looking for innovations that make the working day safer and better on
behalf of its customers and also for its own employees. Mattias Wahlgren, Group
Innovation Manager at Coor, has to be one step ahead when keeping track of new
solutions.
“Of course,
there is a lot that affects how good we feel at work, but the basics are air,
light and sound,” says Mattias.
At Coor’s
bright and modern headquarters, new innovations are constantly being tested and
Mattias is careful about evidence.
“The market
is flooded with products that claim to offer clean air, even from viruses, but
very few have convincing scientific evidence. I became really interested when I
realized that the technology at LightAir had been part of a seven-year-long
independent study led by the Karolinska Institute.”
Enskilda
Gymnasiet is located in central Stockholm, right next to Tegnérlunden Park.
This is where Jonas Persson is IT and Purchasing Manager. In early 2020, he was
curious about how sick leave and health could be improved with a better indoor
climate. So shortly thereafter, the school was on its way to evaluate LightAir
Health+, even before the pandemic struck.
Traffic
pollution in central Stockholm makes life difficult for the school, especially
for students and staff with asthma, allergies and respiratory problems. In the
spring, pollen season adds to the problem, with many getting symptoms similar
to severe colds. Even those who only have moderate respiratory problems become
tired and perform poorly. In addition to this, seasonal influenzas come calling
at the school’s door every year.
