Hundreds of wheelie bin housings delivered to Glasgow

Our expert team have been working hard at our factory in South Yorkshire over the last few months to meet the requirements of the Glasgow City Council tender.
Back in December, we tendered for the supply of 140, 240 and 360 litre wheelie bin housings for litter and recycling collections.
We suggested our flagship BWB Wheelie Bin Cover, offering a stylish and hardwearing litter solution with a large capacity to match. The council loved the design and craftsmanship of the unit and we were awarded the tender as a result!
It’s been full speed ahead since we won the contract, and so far we’ve manufactured and delivered over 500 wheelie bin covers which will be sited across four neighbourhoods and Glasgow city centre.
We’ll be working towards the next phase of the contract over the forthcoming months.
We’ve worked with Glasgow Council for many years and we couldn’t be happier to be working with them once again. Back in 2014, we won the tender to supply Glasgow with bespoke recycling bins to meet their ‘Recycling on the Go’ brief.
Take a look at the Glasgow wheelie bin housings being handcrafted and manufactured by our team. Forming the body on our high-tech press brake, our skilled welders putting the unit together and the finished carcass being powder coated in the chosen colour.
